Arch Echo Announces 3X3: A Three-Part EP Series - Launching June 27
Progressive metal outfit Arch Echo is back, and more on fire than ever, with 3X3, an ambitious new release series set to unfold over the course of a year. The project consists of three EPs, each featuring three original tracks. The first installment, 3X3: Catalyst, arrives June 27, 2025.

After starting the year igniting stages across the U.S. on tour with Intervals and VOLA, Arch Echo returns with fresh material that highlights their signature blend of high-energy progressive metal, technical fusion, and sass. With 3X3, the band is taking a staggered release approach, offering listeners a steady flow of new music while allowing each EP individually to have its own moment.
Keyboardist Joey Izzo shared his thoughts on the new material: “It feels great to have new Arch Echo music out in the world. You always wonder when you start if you have something new to say, but I’m really satisfied with how these tracks turned out. I’m excited to continue exploring how we’ve all changed and grown over the last couple of years.”
Bassist Joe Calderone added, “Catalyst has really come to represent that initial spark of creativity, fueled by our first full in-person writing session in almost seven years, and lots of coffee. The music feels fresh, full of life, and packed with attitude. It’s probably the most excited I’ve been for a release in a long time.”
The second installment in the 3X3 series is slated for release later in 2025, with the third and final chapter arriving in Spring 2026.
All three EPs will be released digitally across all major streaming platforms and available for digital download via Bandcamp. Once the full 3X3 collection is complete, a deluxe physical edition CD and vinyl will be released in Spring 2026.
